Overall Objective: Sole responsibility for ensuring kitchen cleanliness, maintaining kitchen organisation and washing of all kitchen equipment and machinery.
Main Duties: ?
To clean and dry all items used by chefs for food preparation ?
To keep the kitchen, stores, fridges & service areas in an organised, clean and tidy state at all times ?
To receive deliveries and ensure deliveries are organised and stored once in the kitchen ?
To segregate and remove waste to appropriate waste disposal area ?
To ensure all kitchen machinery is maintained and cleaned daily.
?
Once kitchen is closed, to ensure all areas are clean and organised for next days service.
?
To assist chefs with some light food preparation People ?
To treat your team members at location as you would expect to be treated.
?
To co-operate with all team members and undertake duties in the kitchen/service areas as requested to ensure an efficient and effective service is always delivered .Health & Safety, Food Safety, the Environment ?
To attend food safety, health and safety and environmental training courses as required.

To rigorously follow the unit cleaning schedules.
To have full knowledge of all cleaning products and their correct uses.
?
To understand and adhere to waste segregation policy.

Key Skills/Experience ?
Excellent spoken English ?
Minimum 6 months experience in a catering/hospitality role ?
HACCP training desirable ?
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
