Deputy Managing Director - Brightwater Group
Great opportunity with a leading service organisation in West Dublin. As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the overall financial management and reporting of the company. This role will play a crucial part in supporting the COO and has strong potential for career progression. The ideal candidate will have a strong financial background, excellent analytical skills, and a proven ability to manage a team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of management accounts and oversee the month-end close process.
2. Lead the annual statutory audit.
3. Prepare & file all tax returns – VAT, PAYE, C&E, CT.
4. Preparation of Board Pack for monthly Board of Management (BOM).
5. Weekly Sales Reporting and ad hoc management reports.
6. Oversee Aged Debt and implement debt collection plans where needed.
7. Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
8. Lead cost control initiatives and manage overheads.
9. Monitor weekly cash flow and oversee cash management strategies.
10. Manage the finance team.
11. Review and streamline finance systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement.
Person Specification:
1. Strong analytical and reporting skills.
2. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
3. Advanced Excel skills.
4. Experience of SAP is an advantage.
5. Team player with a proactive and hands-on approach.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
