Our client, a leading hotel based in Dublin, has a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Financial Controller to join their team. Working closely with the hotel Financial Controller, this role will form an important part of the finance function.
Your Role - A Brief Guide
* Assisting the Financial Controller in the preparation and detailed analysis of monthly results, and where appropriate involvement with the production and presentation of yearly budgets and forecasts.
* Providing the General Manager with revenue reports; forecasted versus actual.
* Processing and checking supplier invoices through the online purchase ordering system.
* Maintaining Creditors Ledger and dealing with supplier queries.
* Ensuring that the payroll is signed off completely, accurately, and timely, and being fully aware of company and legislative requirements in terms of holiday pay, sick pay policy, etc.
* Managing all monthly stocktakes and calculation of same.
* Completing ROS returns.
Your Profile
* Part-qualified (or qualified) accountant. Different profiles will be considered.
* Hotel accounts experience desirable albeit not essential.
* Knowledge and experience in using accounting software.
* Good IT skills and experience working with MS Excel.
* Efficient work methods, capable of working both as part of a team and on their own initiative, and has the ability to multitask.
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
