We are hiring for a Key Account Manager, Specialised Nutrition (Growth Ingredients) to join our team at Tirlán
Our ingredients business includes a range of dairy and plant-based ingredients and related services that will continue to expand as we grow our business.
The role focuses on managing a number of Tirlán’s key accounts within the Medical Nutrition and Infant Nutrition sectors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the management and commercial growth of key Specialised Nutrition customers and will be the key relationship owner with customers, responsible for fostering and coordinating multi-functional and multi-level contact points. You will operate as part of the wider Growth Sales team and will require a high level of collaboration with Marketing, Category Management, R&D, Finance and our Insights teams on market and channel development, sales execution, and product innovation.

Responsibilities
1. Manage a number of existing Specialised Nutrition customer accounts in order to maximize sales volumes and margins, and to grow key account relationships in the specialised nutrition sector.
2. Identify, develop and implement new value adding opportunities across this growth sector for Tirlán with existing and new customers.
3. Develop relationships with customers and internal stakeholders, to ensure that the customers agenda is understood and can be delivered within Tirlán.
4. Be a key Tirlán market intelligence owner and track, monitor and report on relevant developments and trends to senior business stakeholders.
5. Lead, inform and deliver the commercial strategy for Specialised Nutrition customers and market in conjunction with the relevant product category leads.
6. Work closely with our Innovation and Category Management functions to ensure that customer specific requirements, product developments and projects are aligned, managed and delivered.
7. Set and lead best-in-class standards of customer care, innovation and customer experience and to positively influence team culture inside and outside of the organisation.
Requirements
8. 10 years’ experience in Key Account Management with a demonstrable track record in value-added growth.
9. Experience in B2B Ingredient sales to Medical and Infant Nutrition is preferable, but not essential.
10. Evidence of excellent relationship management skills and the ability to influence people across both internal and external business networks.
11. Demonstrate you are results driven, self-motivated and resourceful coupled with operational excellence and results delivery.
12. Technically minded with an ability to understand complex processes.
13. A focus on qualitative interactions with potential leads and prospects.
14. Accurate forecasting & verifiable history for the timely fulfilment of set goals.
15. Preparation and delivery of presentations and solution proposals to senior level contacts, including CEO, CGO, ELT, Director and Head-of levels.
16. Background qualification and/or experience working in Life Sciences/Business or other related disciplines is desired.
17. Regular travel within Europe and other territories is required.
18. Experience with relevant CRM systems such as C4C Hana.
19. Professional working proficiency in English is required. Capabilities in one other European language would be an advantage.
