Business Development Manager (Ireland & UK)
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Ireland and UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business accounts, delivering profitable and sustainable growth in line with the company's capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop new business accounts within Ireland & UK, exhausting all potential opportunities.
2. Manage existing UK accounts to enhance customer growth and portfolio expansion.
3. Identify new opportunities to expand our account portfolio in line with our business capabilities.
Reporting and Communication
The role reports directly to Derek Dunwoody (Head of Commercial, Technical & R&D). Regular communication is essential, with weekly progress reports presented to the Head of Commercial using a provided template.
Market Research and Analysis
The Business Development Manager will conduct market research to identify new opportunities, presenting proposals for new business development to the management team at sales meetings.
Product Development and Management
The role involves managing product delists, coordinating product development activities, and promoting technical updates to customers through workshops when applicable.
Credentials and Experience
A background in the Food Industry, ingredients experience, and technical experience are preferred qualifications for this role.
