What is the opportunity? We are looking for driven and enthusiastic Senior Analysts to work with a team of experienced modelling specialists. We work in an exciting and fast paced environment where you will have the opportunity to support the development, management and maintenance of Credit Risk models (Decision-Making, IRB and IFRS 9). In this role, you will: Contribute to specific model development/remediation projects; Follow thorough analytical solution and documentation processes and quality standards; Ensure output compliance with internal and Regulatory requirements; Support engagement with key stakeholders (e.g. Business Model Owners, Model Validation teams, Model Risk teams etc); and Support internal model governance processes; What will make you stand out? Our team would benefit from someone with advanced experience of SAS or a similar programming language who has tried and tested experience of data risk management as well as previous Credit Risk/IRB/IFRS9/Stress Testing Modelling expertise; You will need to have good communication and influencing skills as well as excellent facilitation skills, high energy and resilience with a focus on relationship management skills. Strong critical thinking and interpretation skills are a must! Experience of IRB, IFRS 9 and/or Decision-Making models will help you to stand out but is not necessary in order to apply. Essential Qualifications There are no specific qualifications or minimum educational requirements needed for this role. More about the team Decision Science is the analytical centre of excellence within Group Risk. We develop all of the Group's credit risk models for use in operational decision-making, IRB regulatory capital calculation and IFRS 9 impairment calculation. We are increasing the use of credit risk models to automate decision-making and move away from manual processes. Once in place we maintain and monitor these models and generate appropriate insights. This is a hybrid role with the primary office location as either Dublin or Bristol.
