RheinMain University of Applied Sciences has the following vacancy in the IT and Media Center in the OnSite Support department: Employee in departmental client and IT management (m/f/d) Your tasks Coordination and administration of system and software distribution for the Department of Social Services in cooperation with the central IT and Media Center (ITMZ) Administration, configuration, further development, setup, operation and management of workstations at the department Consulting, testing, recommendation/procurement, installation and implementation of new hardware and software Support for hardware and standard applications across multiple locations, optimization of corresponding structures Development and maintenance of guidelines for workstations Processing support requests in first, second and third level support that require specialist knowledge of the applications Independent maintenance, specialist advice and, if necessary, further development of media technology, printer technology and network connection (if necessary in cooperation and coordination with the ITMZ) Due to the integration of the departmental IT infrastructure into the IT infrastructure of the university, the tasks and activities of the job holder are carried out in the ITMZ Your profile Completed university degree, preferably with an IT/technical focus, or equivalent skills and experience and several years of professional experience Very good knowledge of the common operating systems based on Microsoft in the client and server area Willingness to familiarize yourself with special IT requirements in the university and specialist area Strong customer and service orientation and very good problem-solving skills Interest in constantly familiarizing yourself with dynamically evolving requirements Very good German and good written and spoken English skills Team and communication skills Training and presentation skills Quick comprehension and high operational flexibility Strong service orientation and corresponding understanding of service Independent and structured working style We offer Exciting challenges and opportunities in an innovative university environment Facilitating professional exchange between ITMZ colleagues and the Department of Social Work Flexible, family-friendly working time arrangements and the option of mobile working Tasks with added value in a varied environment Extensive and varied training and development opportunities Company health management, incl.
