Main Purpose of Role:
Murphy is recruiting for a Quality Advisor to work with the Quality Team and support Projects across Ireland.

We deliver Engineering, Procurement & Construction projects serving both regulated and private customers along with technical and engineering solutions within the conventional power and energy transition markets. Role Duties:
Implement our Quality Strategy across the business.
Establish and promote best practices in quality matters in conjunction with the Quality function.
Ensure that all personnel are aware of their statutory duties and responsibilities, and to provide advice as and when required.
Support site management teams to ensure compliance with all requirements stipulated in the Quality Plans.
Carry out regular inspections/audits of sites and workplaces to find whether work is being carried out in accordance with Company Policy, Procedures and other stated requirements.
Assist with delivering Quality training/toolbox talks across the business.
Promote the reporting of nonconformances and provide advice on closing out actions.
Collate and review Business / Contract Quality statistics in a timely manner and submit to the Quality Management and Quality function for reporting purposes.
Review Quality statistics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Represent Murphy at meetings or interviews regarding construction quality
Develop and implement Quality campaigns and improvement plans in agreement with Quality Management.
Provide support to Project teams in the development of Quality Plans.
Produce Quality plans, procedures and associated documentation and check compliance
Qualifications & Skills
Experience within a Quality role or a similar role.
Preferably be a member of Chartered Quality Institute (CQI)
MS package knowledge (e.g. Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, MS Project)
Solid understanding of the requirements of the ISO 9001 standard.
Previous experience within an Engineering or Construction environment
Full Driving Licence
Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
To be an enthusiastic, detailed, and dynamic problem solver. You will have a good technical ability, be able to understand construction, design, product and installation compliance and share knowledge with our project teams.
The ability to clearly articulate problems and assess and generate reports.
The ability to be a team player and to promote a culture of continuous improvement
An ability to educate and train others on quality-related matters
The ability to inspire, influence and engage with our operational teams.
