Housekeeping/Cleaning Operative Role:
We are recruiting for an experienced housekeeping team member to join our busy crew in Howth Yacht Club.
Howth Yacht Club is the largest Yacht Club in Ireland and is situated in an enviable location on the seafront in Howth. The Clubhouse boasts stunning views of the 300 berth marina, Howth Harbour, and Ireland’s Eye. As well as a regular clientele of members, the Yacht Club also welcomes visiting boats and their crew and has earned a reputation as a host of many national and international sailing events.
Working Hours:
The successful candidate will be required to work mornings from 8am - 12noon, for 16-20 hours per week, with more hours available during events. Flexibility with regards to work hours is essential to assist with functions and large events as they arise.
Ideal Candidates:
* Should have some experience in general cleaning, use of cleaning equipment (e.g., buffer, power washer), and knowledge of general cleaning chemicals.
* Must be able to work as part of a team, and alone at times.
* Must be flexible in approach to the role; no two days are the same.
* Must be able to apply initiative in their role.
Responsibilities Include:
* Cleaning Male and Female changing rooms and shower areas.
* Cleaning all bathroom facilities.
* Cleaning Bar, Dining, Meeting rooms, and communal areas.
* Cleaning outdoor areas, decking, and balcony.
* Helping with any other tasks required by other members of the management/housekeeping team.
* Assistance with setting up meeting and function rooms, as required.
Details:
* Reporting to Senior Housekeeper.
* Working alongside existing housekeeping team, currently 2 people.
* Available for an immediate start.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term
Contract length: 9 months.
Pay: €12.70 per hour.
Expected Hours: 16 – 20 per week.
Work Location: In person.
