Position Summary
We are seeking a Procurement Assistant to manage the procurement, logistics, inventory, and quality control processes essential to our operations. This role ensures seamless supply chain management, efficient internal and external shipments, and high-quality inventory management in support of our operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement
Purchase Order Processing:
Generate and manage purchase orders, ensuring accurate and timely completion. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any order discrepancies.
Open Order Reports:
Maintain and update records of open purchase orders, ensuring alignment with timelines and supplier commitments.
Invoice Processing:
Verify and process supplier invoices, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and accuracy of data.
Communication and Coordination:
Liaise with internal teams to ensure alignment on purchasing requirements. Communicate with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery schedules, and issue resolutions.
Logistics
Internal Shipments:
Coordinate the movement of materials and parts within the organization.
External Shipments:
Manage outgoing shipments to customers, vendors, and other stakeholders, ensuring on-time delivery.
International Shipments:
Oversee international shipments to/from our different locations globally, ensuring compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.
Inventory Management
Goods In:
Receive and inspect incoming deliveries.
Verify shipments against purchase orders and packing lists.
Record receipt in the system, report discrepancies, and update the receiving log.
File necessary paperwork systematically.
Maintain inventory accuracy and update stock levels regularly.
Incoming Quality Control
Perform batch testing of incoming parts to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Document test results and report statistics to Procurement and Engineering teams.
Provide feedback on supplier performance based on quality data.
Reporting
Prepare and submit monthly WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, logistics, or inventory management, preferably in a technology or manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills
Proficient in ERP systems, inventory management software and MS Office Suite.
Strong understanding of procurement processes and logistics coordination.
