Job Title: IT Field Engineer

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer with a track record in on-site installations to contribute to the growth of our client's company. You will benefit from training and excellent career progression prospects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the on-site installation, configuration, and maintenance of all client hardware, including Windows Servers, computers, laptops, and printers.
As an IT Field Engineer, you will also install, configure, and maintain client software, such as MS 365 and Azure, virtual environments (Hyper V, VMWare, Veeam), communication equipment, including switches, routers, firewalls, and mobile devices.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Problem solving and troubleshooting issues on-site and remotely.
2. Customer account management.
3. Training and transferring knowledge to clients.
4. Managing and communicating with third-party vendors.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
1. Experience in an IT support or field engineer role, dealing with on-site installations, configurations, and maintenance of client hardware.
2. Sound knowledge of MS 365, Azure, and AD.
3. Server installation/migration and administration experience, including virtual environments (Hyper V, VMWare, Veeam).
4. Knowledge of firewalls, routers, switches, and remote access servers.
5. A full driving license.
As an IT Field Engineer, you must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting skills, and documentation are also essential.
A degree in computer science or another technically related subject is required.
