Overview
We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser to produce sales and create lasting relationships with store managers. The right candidate will be experienced in merchandising and be able to develop a sales approach to the role.
The Primary Responsibilities for This Role Are:
1. To adhere to journey plans given by line manager
2. Merchandise required products on to shelves and ensure that all merchandising guidelines are being adhered to with emphasis on planogram compliance, maximizing promotional space and negotiating with Store Manager
3. Record merchandising activity completed, audit our brands and competitor activity and provide feedback in a timely manner
4. Maintain and grow planogram space where possible
5. Ensure all products have correct SEL placed in front of the product
6. Merchandise all promotional displays and ensure correct pricing is in place
7. Capture before and after photographs on a hand-held device
8. Liaise with store manager prior to leaving to ensure they are happy with work completed
9. Liaise with NSM before and after each call
10. Deliver field insights to the National sales manager
11. Build strong relationships with all parties to work together as a team
12. To generate new ideas and ways of working
13. To support all product launches and promotions and develop presence in-store
14. To maintain all CPM standards and policies
15. To consistently strive to reach highest standards of performance for customers
16. To ensure at all times that you operate in an effective and efficient manner to complete all tasks
17. To undertake any other duties and responsibilities as instructed by your line manager
Required Experience & Competencies:
1. Full driving licence is essential
2. Merchandising background is desirable but not required
3. Computer Literate – ability to send photos via email and fill in and send reports/audits as required
4. Ability to undertake physical activity as this role will involve lifting and moving some heavy products
