Key Responsibilities: Lead the delivery of advanced physiotherapy interventions in an acute hospital setting.
Assess, diagnose, and develop tailored treatment plans for patients with a variety of medical conditions, including post-surgical, respiratory, neurological, and musculoskeletal cases.
Provide expert clinical reasoning and evidence-based rehabilitation programs to optimise patient recovery.
Supervise and mentor junior physiotherapists and physiotherapy assistants, supporting their clinical development.
Collaborate closely with medical, nursing, and allied health teams to ensure holistic patient care.
Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and provide guidance on discharge planning and post-hospital rehabilitation.
Contribute to service development initiatives, quality improvement, and best practice strategies within the department.
Maintain accurate clinical records and uphold professional standards in physiotherapy care.
Essential Criteria: BSc or MSc in Physiotherapy (CORU registration essential).
Minimum of three years' post-graduate experience as a Physiotherapist, with a strong background in acute hospital care.
Proven ability to work independently and lead within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Excellent communication and patient-centred approach.
