Please note that this position is for an office based in Kildare and with a hybrid flexible work mode, you would be required to be in the office 2 days a week.
Role Overview:
The Finance Business Partner will provide financial analysis, advice, and support to racecourse teams.
They will ensure financial insights drive informed decision-making, promote efficiency, and add value.
This role requires strong collaboration with senior management and stakeholders to optimize financial performance and resource allocation.
Key Responsibilities: Partner with senior management to drive business performance and financial decision-making.
Provide objective financial advice to optimize resource allocation and cost efficiency.
Support financial planning, including forecasts, budgets, and strategic multi-year plans.
Oversee monthly financial reporting, including KPIs, P&L, and performance monitoring.
Lead the annual budget process and present key findings to leadership.
Evaluate capital spend proposals and manage financial grant applications.
Prepare audit files and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Improve financial systems and processes, supporting finance shared services.
Maintain key stakeholder relationships and provide financial insights to drive business growth.
Skills & Experience: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA).
Mid/Senior experience with post-qualification experience, preferably in a finance business partner role.
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; SUN accounting system experience is a plus.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive and strategic approach.
Commercial awareness and ability to challenge constructively.
Team-oriented with leadership potential and a hands-on approach.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities.
Important Note: A valid full-time right to work in Ireland is required for this position.
