Hospitality Bar Manager Responsibilities:
O Support the management team to ensure the smooth running of hotel operations.
O Collaborate with each department to deliver exceptional guest service consistently.
O Address guest queries promptly and courteously, ensuring guest satisfaction.
O Champion service excellence throughout the hotel.
O Solicit and respond to guest feedback to enhance guest satisfaction and continuous improvement.
O Maintain communication with all departments, working closely with department heads.
O Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and HACCP regulations specifically in the bar outlets .
O Supervise and manage daily operations of service areas, ensuring adequate staffing and supervision.
O Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, overseeing cleaning schedules.
O Manage complaints and monitor their resolution, ensuring timely and professional responses.
O Ensure proper cash handling procedures and adherence to company policies.
O Manage bar inventory, conduct stock checks, and minimize waste.
O Encourage upselling and cross-selling to maximize revenue.
O Conduct staff training, performance appraisals, and disciplinary procedures as needed.
O Collaborate with HR Manager on health and safety initiatives and maintain equipment/furniture.
O Uphold personal hygiene and adhere to all company policies and Health & Safety regulations.
O Develop marketing strategies that enhance customer engagement.
O Attend meetings and training as requested.
O Carry out other duties as directed by management based on business needs and support various departments as required.
Skills & Qualifications:
O International Business in Hospitality & Tourism qualification desirable.
O Previous experience in a beverage managerial role within the hospitality industry preferred.
O Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
O Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
O Proficiency in cash handling and inventory management.
O Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
O Certification in food safety (HACCP) desirable.
O Experience in Mixology and Wines preferable.
Must be able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
