About Your New Job
The Construction Site Manager position is available in Dublin, where you will play a critical role in overseeing current ongoing projects and future upcoming projects.
As a key member of the team, you will ensure that all construction activities are executed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
2. Supervise and coordinate site staff, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with project plans, safety regulations, and company policies.
3. Oversee all aspects of the construction process to ensure the highest quality standards and adherence to specifications.
4. Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
5. Monitor project costs, manage resources effectively, and prepare reports to maintain the project within the allocated budget.
6. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
7. Maintain detailed and accurate records of project progress, including daily reports, site diaries, and any necessary change orders.
What Skills You Need
1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in construction site management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering commercial and large residential projects.
2. Trade qualified Carpenter and/or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred, but not required for those with extensive experience.
3. A full Clean Driver's Licence.
4. Relevant certifications such as PMP, Safe Pass, or CIF Membership are advantageous.
5. Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
