Service Line: Consumer and Technology Business (CTB)
Our Consumer and Technology Business practice is committed to excellence, prioritizing quality and innovation in all our services. We strive to provide greater value to our clients across various industries, including manufacturing, distribution, pharmaceuticals, retail, media, technology, and property.
Your Role
As an Assistant Manager in our Audit team, you will build strong relationships with teams and clients, focusing on exceeding client expectations. You will be responsible for leading audits, ensuring timely completion of projects to agreed service levels, building and leading effective teams, and contributing to the development of the Audit practice within the Irish market.
Your Responsibilities
* Obtain an understanding of the entity and its environment, including internal control.
* Gather, update, and analyze information throughout the audit.
* Apply knowledge of relevant accounting standards applicable to the entity.
* Perform risk assessment procedures or provide a basis for identifying and assessing risks of material misstatement.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* Big 4 or mid-tier Audit firm experience.
* Familiarity with auditing and accounting standards, relevant laws and regulations, ethical standards, and independence requirements.
* Expert knowledge of relevant accounting standards.
* Proven experience delivering high-quality audits using technology, tools, guidance, and methodology.
* A CAI accounting qualification or international equivalent and a strong academic record.
* Excellent analytical skills and a strong attention to detail.
* Strong commercial and market awareness.
* High motivation and ability to work independently in a challenging environment.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to write clear, concise reports.
