Overview of Role: Our clientis a well-established company based in Co Monaghan is seeking an Accounts Assistant on a 3 day week on site, on a permanent part-time basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting and administrative tasks to ensure smooth business operations.
Duties include: Creditors ledger processing invoices, payments, creditor reconciliation and ad hoc supplier/group queries VIES/ Intrastat submission of monthly VIES and Intrastat Purchase ordering Administration support for manufacturing purchases of raw material and packaging in addition to routine office supplies.
Stock reporting recording of incoming goods and material usage on our accounting software, plus preparing supporting file for submission to Group.
Payroll Micropay experience is required.
Time and attendance system (weekly payroll).
General Administration Duties Ideally a candidate will have: Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role is essential, Accounting Technician Qualification is desirable, Excellent IT skills, Word, Excel, Outlook, Excellent organisation skills, with a good attention to detail and a good work ethic, A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
