ABM are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Planner for an immediate start in a Food Manufacturing Industry in Naas Kildare.
Purpose
To provide planning, administration and Facilities Management support for one or more industrial sites in all technical and operational aspects. Knowledge of performance management, planning organisation and productivity. Experienced in a fast moving, challenging multi-site environment and the main point of contact for the client to ensure site preparedness and delivery of service within KPI’s.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Service Provision:
2. Drive all help desk/engineering team work and ensure quick response as and when required.
3. To ensure records of work carried out is recorded on the clients Flex CAFM system.
4. Negotiate with contractors & suppliers for parts & services quotations.
5. Liaise with the client to ensure that equipment issues are dealt with professionally and efficiently.
6. Maintain continuous improvement environment focused on client needs.
7. Develop, implement and monitor performance against targets/KPI’s.
8. Manage & prepare work order metrics & data.
9. Support ABM Finance team functions.
10. Responsible for PO generations control of the ordering systems, material receptions and receipting.
11. To ensure that the site assets being managed by ABM are available to support the client's production requirements.
12. Support delivery of site services within budget. Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts and tracking to plan for financial costing.
13. To recommend to the Contract Manager remedies that need to be carried out to support production required.
14. Identify to the site manager opportunities to diversify or increase contractual services to the client.
15. Show flexibility towards out of hours contact.
16. Document all spare parts required and ensure that all are set up and dispersed location.
17. Tasks will be developed and subject to change as deemed necessary to meet the client’s requirements.
18. Assist with organizing training needs of engineering team.

20. Capable of supporting personnel at all levels and positively reinforcing work structures statutory requirement policies and procedures required by the client.
21. Willingness to take on new skills to enhance the company’s profile and service offering, as per training received.
22. Quality Management and Health and Safety
23. Assist in the development and implementation of the overall client site strategy.
24. Demonstrate clear and concise documentation of health and safety systems within ISO 45,001.
25. To ensure that all company procedures are adhered to, and the quality standards are always maintained.

Skills and Experience:
* Five years’ experience with ability to demonstrate a Clear History of performance achieved and ability to demonstrate excellent organizational/leadership skills.
* IT literate including knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

* Demonstrate an ability to create conditions whereby team and individuals are motivated to meet the purpose of the region.
* Strong negotiation skills.
* Excellent communicator, able to convey information in a clear, simple and warm manner.
* Accomplished problem solver, ability to support proposal of contract reengineering.
* Able to adhere to strict deadlines.
