Head Chef required for well-known Pub/Restaurant in Limerick City region.
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for all aspects of managing the kitchen areas ensuring the quality preparation of all menu items to the highest standards.
* Co-ordinate roster scheduling, manage labour costs, assist with recruitment, and oversee staff productivity and performance.
* Hands-on and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to control service from the front to ensure maximum results during peak periods. Extensive Bar Food, bistro-style experience is required.
* Ability to prioritise, organise, and delegate work assignments while overseeing staff performance with prompt follow-up where required.
* Ensure that HACCP is implemented and documented efficiently, maintaining all standards while reducing food and energy wastage in the kitchens.
* Work with Sous Chef and cover holidays, taking responsibility for ordering, HACCP, rota, menu changes, daily planning, etc.
