Job Description
Vanir Construction Management, Inc. currently has a unique opportunity for a talented individual to assist in the continued strategic growth of our organization. The position of Senior Project Director (Healthcare) will work collaboratively with colleagues and our existing client(s) to deliver intelligent solutions that ensure quality project delivery. This position will also be responsible for leading our PNW area in expanding our opportunities in the healthcare market.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Lead efforts in accordance with the program policies and procedures.
2. Supervise the work and performance of Project Directors, Managers, Construction Managers, and other project staff through ongoing coaching, feedback, and development.
3. Develop and report program & project Key Performance Indicators.
4. Lead and champion the PNW area in healthcare strategic planning, business development, and marketing efforts.
5. Oversee the development and implementation plan and master schedule that reflects the priorities of the program.
6. Manage client relationships to ensure satisfaction with project teams and develop additional work opportunities.
7. Authorize set-up and manage contractual responsibilities for all assigned projects.
8. Ensure timely completion of all Program and Project deliverables required by the client.
9. Provide financial reporting to the client and the bond oversight committee.
10. Develop and review contract documents.
11. Collaborate with client's senior management team on all project matters.
12. Implement a program quality management system.
13. Document and report all program/project data accurately and in a timely manner.
14. Manage program controls, cost, schedule, performance activities, and procedures required by the client.
15. Track all program and project level status and provide management reports.
16. Create and present program and project data clearly to multiple internal and external stakeholder groups.
17. Identify risk and create risk mitigation plans.
18. Develop recommended actions and assist in resolving disputes relative to design and construction.
19. Manage program logistics, organization, and manpower utilization.
20. Ensure contractor, architect, and engineer adherence to contractual requirements.
21. Track and report fiscal year plan objectives related to revenue, budget, and contribution goals.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related degree is required.
2. 15+ years of experience providing project/program management services.
3. Previous experience managing large healthcare programs is required.
4. Experience in managing the full cycle of healthcare projects.
5. Knowledge and application of cost modeling, construction estimating, project controls/scheduling, and engineering/construction principles.
6. Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite products.
7. Experience with project-related scheduling systems such as MS Project or Primavera.
8. Experience in alternative project delivery methods including Progressive Design-Build.
9. Experience in maximizing the benefits of Building Information Modeling (BIM) is preferred.
10. Registration as Architect or Professional Engineer license is preferred.
11. CMAA - CCM certification preferred.
12. DBIA - Design Build certification is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
Offered rate of compensation will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including education, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. The Salary range for this position is $150,000-$226,000.
