Position Description The Residential Products and Propositions Manager will be responsible for leading and directing a team of product & proposition managers and is accountable for the product planning and lifecycle management of the full suite of electricity, gas and bundled energy products and propositions across the Residential portfolio.
The role ensures that the Residential products support Electric Ireland's overall strategy and goals and deliver competitive advantage.
The customer will be at the forefront at all times and key decisions will be made with a clear view of the impact on the customer.

Be the customer's voice.Making sure we fulfill our customers' demand through accurate forecasting and budgeting.Leveraging our digital & IT capability to create customer-focused propositions.Key Responsibilities The Residential Products and Propositions Manager will lead the Product and Propositions team and will be responsible for:
Ensuring products have a clearly defined 'go-to-market' strategy and the successful operational delivery against it.Owning and defining the evolving product strategy including commercials, product life cycle as the market develops and product range widens.Working with Residential Customer, Commercial & Strategy and Marketing on the analysis of market trends, customer segments and requirements, and competitive landscape to define new product requirements as appropriate.Keeping the customer front of mind at all times and making key decisions with a clear view of the impact on the customer.Key decision making about commercial offerings & positioning, including how our portfolio of products and services can improve customer experience and loyalty.Liaising with teams across Electric Ireland, leveraging expertise and co-operation for marketing, sales, customer operations, installation and service for the development of all Electric Ireland products to ensure commercial viability.Working with Electric Ireland Marketing and Sales, ensuring products and services have a clearly defined marketing and sales strategy and the successful operational delivery against it.Oversight and alignment of the third parties with whom these products and services will be delivered.Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define product roadmap.Fostering a culture of learning and innovation to launch successful customer-facing Product offerings.Partnering closely with Marketing, Sales, Net Zero Products, CVM and Service to translate product vision and strategy into a great customer experience.Managing a multi-skilled team of Product managers capable of producing innovative products and bringing to market leading product solutions.Establishing a shared product vision across Electric Ireland by building consensus on priorities, including stakeholders and cross-functional teams.Experience & Qualifications At least 7-10 years' Utility and/or relevant business experience with a track record of delivery.Relevant 3rd Level qualification and/or relevant equivalent work experience.The ability to manage key internal and external stakeholders.A dynamic leader with a proven record of taking innovative ideas and solutions from concept to the customer.Must have a proven record in delivering results in support of a fast-growing business.Location ESB is committed to smart working – combining digital tools with a culture of trust and empowerment to enable flexible ways of working.
The successful candidate may work flexibly within their jurisdiction with attendance at the workplace for in-person collaboration on at least two anchor days per week.
