Medforce is seeking a dedicated Staff Grade Speech and Language Therapist to join our client’s team in an acute care environment based in Drogheda, Louth.
This is a full-time, 35-hour week spread across Monday – Friday with excellent benefits including free onsite parking, incremental HSE pay-scale, generous annual leave entitlement, and CPD opportunities.
You will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients, including:
* Managing a dysphagia caseload for stroke patients and those with general medical conditions.
* Performing comprehensive assessments and developing individualized care plans.
* Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
* Providing education and advice to patients, families, and caregivers about communication and swallowing disorders.

Essential Criteria
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* Recognized qualification in Speech and Language Therapy and current registration with CORU.
* Experience managing a dysphagia caseload in an acute or similar setting.
* Knowledge of stroke care and general medical conditions.
* Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* A proactive and patient-centered approach to care.
