EM Normandie Business School is currently looking for highly qualified and experienced part-time English language teachers to deliver some of their Business English and Further English classes, TOIEC exam preparation, in a highly professional environment where you will work alongside a small team of highly experienced and professional educators in a very prestigious French business school that is currently listed in the top 68 business schools by The Financial Times.
What will you do?
1. Prepare a course outline working with the existing syllabus for a full academic semester.
2. Do up final exams conforming to our existing exam templates, and preferably with some alterations. We encourage creativity within the frameworks of the syllabus, adopting an ‘if it works’ approach promoting academic creativity.
3. Plan lessons for three-hour sessions, 10 sessions in all (30 hours total).
4. There is a maximum level of teaching hours of 150 hours per teacher.
Job Requirements
What skills do you need?
1. Previous experience teaching academic English exams such as IELTS, BEC, and at a very high standard.
2. EFL qualifications to satisfy QQI regulations: CELTA, TESOL, etc.
3. Primary degree, preferably language related.
4. A proven track record in academic performance.
5. Fluency in a second language, this is considered a minimum requirement.
What we will do?
1. Offer a highly competitive hourly rate for EFL teaching, at 40 Euro an hour it is the highest rate of pay in Dublin.
2. Total academic support and training, where needed.
