We are recruiting Pastry Chef/ Baker for a busy Gastrobar & Restaurant on Kerry Ideal candidate will require 3+ years experience in a similar role in 4* hotel or busy upmarket Restaurant with excellent Food reputation, substantial volume business and recognised high standards.
This is a fulltime permanent role in a high profile property, role offers attractive daytime hours rota.

Excellent hygiene and grooming standards Ability to prioritise work load and coordinate team to meet service schedules Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
Be passionate and creative, in leading development and implementing new ideas Duties include but are not exclusive to: To help prepare and produce all dishes on-site to a consistently high standard.
Manage your team, coach, mentor and support them To prepare, cook and present all dishes to the correct menu specification regarding quality and quantity.
To oversee services & to ensure all dishes are presented to the standard required To prepare & serve Breads, Pastries and desserts for Bar Food, Bistro Dinner & Functions To follow any instructions given by the Health & Safety Manager and to offer full support at all times in the implementation of all necessary controls To assist the Head Chef in maintaining quality of ingredients and suppliers To assist in managing purchasing cycles and be aware of stock rotation issues Plan in advance for Seasonal menu changes and Events, Easter, Christmas etc To ensure all agreed cleaning schedules and adhered to and HACCP guidelines and principles are followed To apply Potential applicants require current legal status to live and work in Ireland without restrictions, Interviews will be held in-person at the property.
