Senior Legal Counsel - Global Litigation, DublinSchneider Electric is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel with 5+ years of practical experience in all phases of global litigation and claims management from inception through resolution. This role will directly support the Global Head of Litigation in oversight of material litigation and claims.Mission: You will be responsible for delivery of legal, regulatory and compliance services. You will operate as a key business partner to provide strategic support and advice, working on a wide range of legal and compliance matters across the globe. Location: This role supports a flexible hybrid model. The local office is in Dublin/London. You should expect occasional travel to other locations as business needs are determined.What will you do?Analyze litigation trends across regions to mitigate risk and decrease exposure.Provide oversight and advice and counsel on material claims and significant litigations across all regions.Ensure the Head of Global Litigation is apprised of all material claims and litigation developments in real time, including maintaining up to date information through the collection of data across the legal department.Assist with management and selection of outside counsel to ensure best in class external support in all regions while also managing legal spend.Prepare bi-annual reports for Schneider Electric Audit Committee as to material litigation, potential exposure, and risk management.Assist with management and oversight of regulatory investigations across all regions.Provide legal training to internal stakeholders around global litigation topics.What will help you be successful?A fully qualified lawyer authorized to practice in Ireland with a Master/Bachelor of Law degree or equivalent and at least 5 years’ relevant PQE in employment or commercial law.A fully qualified lawyer authorized to practice in England with a Master/Bachelor of Law degree or equivalent and at least 5 years’ relevant PQE in employment or commercial law.Fluent in English (written and verbal).Previous experience at an international company a plus (in-house or law firm).Ability to work proactively and closely with the business stakeholders, to identify and analyze critical commercial and legal issues.Ability to apply legal expertise to deliver solutions.Confident with fantastic interpersonal skills, commercially minded, highly organized, and able to work effectively in teams.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Able to work independently and manage large volumes of work.What do we offer?We are offering an interesting job with a range of activities providing a high level of personal responsibility and broad prospects.
