Position: Leasing Operations Manager

Description:

Under the direction of the Property Manager, the Leasing Operations Manager is responsible for the efficient leasing operations of the assigned property, including but not limited to supervising Leasing Consultants, renewals, move-in and move-out processing, notice to vacate processing, miscellaneous accounting tasks related to the operation of the property, and all other duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Inspecting apartments and property as needed to report any deficiencies
* Recording all resident correspondence including maintaining all renewal records in the system
* Working with the marketing and leasing team for property marketing
* Managing addendums and other leasing administrative tasks
* Overseeing CRM
* Managing renters’ insurance process
* Managing Section 8 Compliance
* Assisting in the supervision of the leasing and operations in the office including scheduling
* Serving as a back-up to PM as needed
* All other projects as assigned
Additional Responsibilities:
* Ensuring compliance with all Fair Housing laws and Delaware State and local codes and laws
* Completing assigned online education requirements as specified
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
* High School Diploma
* Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in market rate property management
* Experience managing with 200+ units
* Strong customer service background
* At least five years’ relevant Leasing experience
* Knowledge of Property Management database software
* Yardi experience is a plus
* Associate degree or industry certifications preferred
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google docs
* Valid driver’s license

Physical Demands:
Must be able to drive a vehicle, get in and out of a van, able to inspect and demonstrate models and apartments. May require climbing up to 4 flights of stairs.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced office setting. Noise includes ringing phones and prospects and residents coming in and out of the office.
