About the Role
We are working in partnership with a leading UK insurer to recruit an experienced Quality Assurance Advisor.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a compliance-focused professional to play a key role in maintaining high standards across a network of Appointed Representatives (ARs) and Introducer Appointed Representatives (IARs).
You will be responsible for leading independent oversight and monitoring of UK Retail Appointed Representatives and Introducer Appointed Representatives, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring seamless compliance with regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the independent oversight and monitoring of UK Retail Appointed Representatives and Introducer Appointed Representatives.
* Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, acting on feedback to drive service improvements.
* Work closely with branch and Partner Assurance teams to develop and document oversight frameworks.
* Implement and enhance regulatory frameworks, ensuring seamless compliance.
* Participate in supervisory and conduct meetings, providing detailed reports and recommendations.
* Assist with FCA reporting, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
* Provide monthly reports to the UK Retail Conduct and Risk Forum, identifying performance trends and potential risks.
* Continuously review and refine policies and procedures to maintain regulatory excellence.
* Stay up to date with Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulations and industry best practices.
About You
We are looking for someone with experience within the insurance sector or a regulated industry, educated to GCSE standard or equivalent, ideally with CII/Dip CII qualification (or currently working towards it).
Other requirements include:
* A strong knowledge of Quality Assurance principles and FCA regulations related to Appointed Representatives.
* The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear advice and guidance.
* An organised, self-motivated individual capable of managing multiple priorities independently.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
* Must be eligible to work in the UK and able to travel regularly as required.
