Quality Assurance Lead

About the Role
This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance professional to join our client's team as Quality Lead. Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, you will play a key role within the management team working closely with the operations team to ensure site production requirements are met, focusing on food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight of the Food Safety & Quality Management System
* Management of high-risk food production processes
* Compliance with regulatory standards
* Corrective & Preventative Action and Non-Conforming Product Management
* Raw material and stock control
* Adherence to customer specifications
* Customer liaison and complaint management
* Implementation of user-owned control procedures
* System self-assessment and audit support for customers
You will be responsible for maintaining BRC and Bord Bia standards, implementing HACCP and hygiene requirements, and leading the HACCP Team. Additionally, you will be involved in product and process development, ensuring quality, yield, and specification standards are maintained.
Requirements:
* Third-level qualification in a relevant industry
* Strong quality/technical experience within Food Manufacturing
* Experience of high-risk food production processes
Our ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, be able to coordinate staff training, and participate in continuous improvement activities. They will also be responsible for staff management, attendance management, absenteeism procedures, grievance and disciplinary issue handling, and annual leave administration.
