Mechanical Technician | 12-Month FTC
This is a newly created position where you will play a critical role in supporting the development of a brand-new medical device. As a key member of the Mechanical & Test team, you'll be involved in design verification, validation, reliability testing, and test fixture development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform analytical testing to support product design improvements, verification, and root cause investigations for this innovative new product.
* Design and develop test fixtures to enable precise and reliable testing processes.
* Generate technical documentation, including Test Methods, Test Protocols, and Test Reports, ensuring data accuracy and clarity.
* Validate, maintain, and oversee the installation of R&D laboratory equipment.
* Participate in cross-functional team discussions and technical reviews to drive project progress.
About You:
* Qualification: Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or similar, gained through apprenticeship or third-level education.
* Experience: Experience in an R&D environment is preferred, with a passion for working on new product development.
* Technical Skills: Familiarity with laboratory equipment (e.g., analytical balances, vernier calipers, micrometers, pressure sensors, Instron UTM) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
* Attributes: Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and work independently in a laboratory setting, paired with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
