As a trusted voluntary organisation, we support clients facing challenges such as grief, anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship breakdowns, and suicide prevention.

You will play a key role in shaping and strengthening LLC's counselling services across our two centres.
This is an opportunity for an experienced professional to step into a pivotal leadership position, where you will influence strategy, enhance clinical practices, and make a lasting difference in the community.Your ImpactAs Clinical Team Lead, you will bring expertise, vision, and guidance to our volunteer counselling teams.
You will champion service quality, governance, and the welfare of both our counsellors and clients.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic & Clinical LeadershipWork closely with the COO to drive centre growth and shape LLC's strategic direction.Provide clinical leadership across Bray and Arklow, supporting the counselling coordinator team and enhancing our model of care.Quality, Governance & InnovationEnsure excellence in service delivery, driving continuous improvement in clinical practice.Maintain robust governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with ethical, statutory, and best practice standards.Lead LLC's Ethics Subcommittee, keeping abreast of developments in the sector.Counsellor & Volunteer DevelopmentSupport the recruitment and onboarding of new counsellors, ensuring alignment with LLC's values and competencies.Mentor and supervise placement students and volunteer counsellors, fostering a culture of learning, care, and development.Identify training needs and deliver relevant programs to upskill and empower our volunteer base.Outreach & Service PromotionBuild partnerships and networks with local services, GPs, and community organisations.Actively promote LLC to attract high-calibre volunteers and enhance community engagement.What You BringExperienceProven senior-level experience leading clinical or counselling services, preferably within the non-profit or voluntary sector.Demonstrated success in developing innovative mental health or counselling programs.QualificationsFully accredited clinical supervisor with IACP, IAHIP, ICP, PSI, or equivalent body.Degree or equivalent qualification in a clinical counselling or psychotherapy discipline.Skills & AttributesDeep understanding of counselling best practices and quality standards.Strong leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills.Commitment to LLC's mission, values, and client-first ethos.Capacity to resolve clinical and organisational challenges with professionalism and empathy.Working at LLCAt Living Life Counselling, you'll be part of a compassionate and supportive team making a real impact.
