Current Need:
SK biotek Ireland is seeking to recruit an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Infrastructure Specialist to join the IT Department reporting to the IT Manager on a permanent basis.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day activities to support and monitor the operation of the Site Information and Communication systems infrastructure. As a member of the IT Team, the ICT Infrastructure Specialist will work closely with IT colleagues and 3rd Party IT Support Vendors to provide operational and project support for all IT infrastructure on the Swords site.
* Ensure any Changes to IT systems are implemented in compliance with site Change Control Procedures and Security Standards
* Work with Managed Service Partners, Vendors, and site stakeholders to manage Lifecycle of Site IT Infrastructure, to ensure infrastructure remains reliable and fit for purpose in supporting site operations.
* Act as site point of contact and hands and eyes for initial troubleshooting of issues with the remote Support teams of our 3rd Party Service Partners for Server Hosting, Network, and Print Services.

* Manage site IT cabling, patching, and wall port infrastructure (Fibre, LAN).
* Monitor and support site communications systems, triage issues, and liaise with Support Vendors as necessary to resolve.
* Monitor System Backups (notified via Email from Backup system). Liaise with Hosting Provider to address any issues, raise tickets/incidents as necessary.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have a degree-level qualification in a relevant IT, engineering, or similar technical discipline and have a minimum of 3 years' experience of IT system support. Experience of working in a GMP regulated environment is desirable.
Estimated Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum
