Job Description:
The Outsourced Technical Services (OTS) Department at PM Group partners with global leaders across a range of industries to find the best people for their current and ongoing business needs. We are currently recruiting an Operations Start-Up Planner/Scheduler for a client site in Limerick. The ideal candidate will have the experience to support the development of site start-up schedules across various workstreams including operations, PQ, utilities, automation, EHS, etc. Primavera P6 experience is desired, but can be provided.
Responsibilities:
1. Work in partnership with the lead Operational Readiness Scheduler to create, manage, and iterate the start-up schedules on Primavera P6.
2. Work closely with Operational Readiness Project Managers to develop and manage the integrated operational readiness schedule.
3. Participate in workstream weekly meetings to report progress, plan upcoming work, and identify schedule risks.
4. Responsible for the development and management of cross-discipline Operational Readiness schedules, as well as project controls tools including schedule reports, performance updates, and schedule change management.
5. Ensure equipment and workflow interdependencies, resource requirements, durations, and sequences are accurately reflected in the schedule.
6. Work with the CAPEX/GFD project controls team to ensure accurate integration of the GFD schedule with the Operations Readiness schedule.
7. Continuously monitor and adjust the Operational Readiness schedule to ensure robustness and accuracy.
8. Liaise with project and site management and provide regular updates on schedule progress, issues, and delays.
9. Provide operations readiness schedule reports as input to metric tracking and weekly/monthly reporting.
Qualifications:
1. Primavera P6 desirable: Creating, updating, and maintaining complex schedules in Primavera P6.
2. Microsoft Project: Skilled in creating, updating, and maintaining schedules in MS Project.
3. Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to connect with cross-functional members of the organization to ensure the schedule is updated and maintained with clarity and accuracy.
