They are currently looking for a Site Engineer to join their team in Kilkenny, where they are undertaking a major residential development. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated engineer looking to expand their experience and work on large-scale, high-profile projects in the region. With 2+ years of experience in civil engineering, the successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of site management, including setting out, quality control, and ensuring the project is completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Site Management: Assist with the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring the project runs smoothly and efficiently. Setting Out: Perform setting out of the works, ensuring all measurements are accurate and in line with project specifications. Quality Control: Monitor the quality of work on-site, ensuring it complies with design specifications and relevant standards. Health & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment on-site. Subcontractor Management: Coordinate and monitor subcontractor activities, ensuring work is completed on time and to the required standards. Reporting: Assist in preparing daily/weekly reports for the Site Manager, tracking project progress, issues, and any changes. Problem Solving: Address any issues that arise on-site, escalating to senior management when necessary. Key Requirements: A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. 2+ years of experience as a Site Engineer, preferably on residential or civil engineering projects. Experience with setting out, quality control, and site supervision. Strong understanding of construction processes, health & safety regulations, and quality standards. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to work well within a team. Full driving license.
