Hobson Prior is seeking a QC Instrumentation Engineer to join the team. This role will help manage and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring everything runs smoothly and meets quality standards. The successful candidate will also work on integrating systems to make the lab more efficient and paperless.

Responsibilities:
1. Write and review plans for testing and validating lab equipment.
2. Help manage the lifecycle of lab equipment and support digital initiatives.
3. Connect lab instruments with digital systems for seamless operations.
4. Lead efforts to improve data accuracy and lab processes.
5. Work with teams and suppliers to solve equipment issues.
6. Coordinate maintenance schedules for lab equipment.
7. Oversee system updates and ensure data is accurate and secure.
8. Use your knowledge of quality standards and regulations to guide equipment management.
9. Communicate effectively with various teams and share best practices globally.
10. Suggest improvements to quality systems related to equipment.
11. Act as a technical expert for reviewing equipment documents.
Key Skills and Requirements:
1. Degree in engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Biomedical).
2. Experience with lab equipment, especially in regulated environments.
3. Familiarity with digital tools and systems used in labs.
4. Ability to work well with different teams and communicate clearly.
5. Understanding of compliance and regulatory standards for lab systems.
