This role primarily focuses on providing basic IT support to the business & its clients. It is a trainee/graduate opportunity with full training provided.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide support to analyze, evaluate, and troubleshoot issues with desktops, laptops, servers, and applications.
2. Resolve tickets and ensure they are completed within SLA's.
3. Administer the Helpdesk Ticketing System/Mailbox & answer Helpdesk phone calls, texts, tickets, and chats.
4. Maintain IT Inventory & perform IT Hardware Upgrades.
5. Assist the Senior Engineering Team with Level 1 Basic Support.
6. Attend Weekly Team Meetings.
7. Monitor system alerts and be proactive in remediation of issues.
8. Support senior engineers on projects.
9. Fully document all troubleshooting steps and create knowledge base articles of resolutions.
10. Support and manage multi-function devices.
11. Maintain strong client relationships and deliver excellent customer service.
Qualifications:
1. Experience beneficial but not necessary as training will be provided.
2. Dependable and flexible, ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
3. Ability to multi-task in a time-sensitive and deadline-driven work environment.
4. Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
5. Adaptable and flexible to a changing work environment.
6. Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp and evaluate new systems/products.
7. Ability to follow & document procedures to the highest standard.
8. Position based in Athlone Headquarters - Attend the Dublin/Roscommon Offices when required.
9. Candidate will require a driver license with own transportation.
