The Position
ElectroRoute is seeking to hire a Tax Accountant. Reporting to the Financial Controller and will be working alongside Finance Operations team. The role will involve a range of key tax activities of central importance to the operation and growth of the company.
The Role of the Tax Accountant includes:
Payroll review across multiple jurisdictions, including secondments and foreign employment considerations.
VAT compliance across multiple jurisdictions (mainly Ireland and UK), including VAT, intrastat, VIES and RTD returns.
Corporation tax compliance across Ireland and UK, including liaison with tax advisors on CT returns, Pillar II and preliminary tax obligations.
Prepare government incentive claims related to R&D projects, including drafting of detailed technical reports to support the claims.
Support the Operations and Commercial teams on operational tax issues.
CBAM and customs reporting.
Transfer pricing management, including preparation of transfer pricing documentation and guidelines, management of intercompany agreements and CBCR reporting.
Assist with statutory reporting with regards to tax notes.
Journal entries related to corporation tax, VAT and payroll and related balance sheet reconciliations.
Ensuring company secretarial compliance.
Developing of tax policies and procedures and ensuring they are adhered to consistently.
Development of systems/processes for the overall improvement of efficiencies throughout the organization.
To carry out any other ad-hoc duties as requested.
The successful Candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
Fully qualified Tax Accountant.
Experience in high transaction volume commodity trading or financial services sector.
Be self-motivated and work well on their own as well as in a team environment.
Deadline driven with strong attention to detail.
A flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt in fast-paced environment.
Three to five years prior experience in the tax area including transfer pricing in practice or industry working with Irish and UK tax.
Stakeholder engagement with the ability to liaise with all levels of stakeholders.
Location
The role will be based in Dublin.
