Refrigeration Shift Technician
Location: Blanchardstown Duration: Permanent Shift Role Day to Day of the Role:

Key Responsibilities
* Maintenance, repair, and commissioning of a full range of HVAC and Refrigeration equipment.
* Delivering exceptional service to customers while working on equipment such as Air Handling Units, chillers, kitchen extract canopies, fire dampers, and controls.
* Ensuring all customer equipment is in perfect working order, efficient, and effective.
* Travel within the Leinster region for parts collection, installation, and servicing of HVAC equipment, mainly in Data Centres.
* International installations and servicing (two weeks in four) with responsibilities encompassing Ireland.
* Collaborating with colleagues and management as necessary, escalating risk items to direct reports.
* Ensuring customer facilities and services meet contract specifications and that assets operate effectively.
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a Senior Service HVAC Technician, preferably on large commercial projects.
* Proven experience in servicing HVAC equipment, with strong analytical skills, problem-solving, diagnostic abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and self-contain assignments when required.
* Excellent documentation practice, communication (verbal and written), influencing, and problem-solving skills.
* Strong leadership, people management, and ability to communicate at all levels, including influencing senior stakeholders.
* Working knowledge of VSDs and conventional motor starter controls.
* Understanding of BMS systems and other control systems.
* Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings.
* Electrical and mechanical building service experience required.
* Professional certificates desirable.
* Familiarity with PC-based tools (Word, Excel, etc.).
* Full clean driver's license.
* Fluency in English (both verbal and written).
* Strong customer focus, good interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize duties, work under pressure, and be fault-tolerant.
* Willingness to work as part of a team, be self-motivated, and professional.
