Flexsource are currently recruiting for a Catering Manager for our Client in Cork.
Purpose of the Role:
The function of this post is to monitor performance and promote growth, through direct line management of a number of services offered.
Responsible for kitchen, onsite restaurants / Hospitality Events and vending.
Delivers services that are highly customer-focused, exceeding expectations and driving business growth.
Prepares accurate financial information that assists in tracking each service and drives profitability.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Maintains effective lines of communication throughout the service.
2. Monitors staff and ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
3. Supports a team approach that recognizes individuals and promotes high staff morale.
4. Monitors & records team training & progress.
5. Plans, organizes, and controls all aspects of the services and activities within client and company guidelines.
6. Manages staffing rota to ensure they meet trading patterns, business growth, and budgetary constraints.
7. Maintains cleanliness and hygiene, complying with company policies and procedures.
8. Ensures all equipment, fixtures, and fittings are maintained and safe for use.
9. Strictly controls cash, ensuring all staff adhere to the Cash Handling Policy.
Experience:
1. Positive attitude & keen eye for detail.
2. Experience in business management or a related field.
3. Demonstrates high-quality customer service skills.
4. 1+ years experience at Catering Supervisor level or above.
