Area Sales Manager / FMCG (E8618) Our client is a highly reputable well established FMCG seeking an Area Sales Manager to join their team.
Salary: €45K plus pension and other benefits.

The Role: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and potential customers in the area.
Achieve sales targets by creating business development plans focusing on expanding the customer base and driving revenue growth.
Work with, lead and inspire teams to ensure their success and continuously grow sales.
Resolve any customer issues in a quick and efficient manner, driving continuous improvement.
Report on KPIs, sales data, market trends and customer preferences.
Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement effective promotional campaigns.
Retain and communicate extensive knowledge of competitors and their activities in your territory.
Key point of contact for operational relationships.
Develop strong relationships with all other Departments such as Production, Quality, NPD, Administration and Marketing and use these platforms to facilitate strategies to develop and grow.
New Product Development and Existing product development Strategic Planning and success measures i.e.
sales, market share, analysis and in store profile KPI achievement and identify areas for continual cost improvement The Candidate: 3 years + experience in a similar sales-based role within the food industry essential.
Demonstrate success in driving business development.
Strong organisational, planning, time management, project management & negotiation skills.
Strong numerical ability.
Excellent communication and listening skills with ability to lead and influence at all levels.
Full clean driving licence.
