The Role
This EHS Lead role involves:
* Driving a Health and Safety Culture
* Developing and implementing safety initiatives
* Conducting training and promoting safety policies & procedures
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* iOSH Chartered membership
* At least 5 years of experience in Health and Safety
* A Health & Safety diploma or equivalent qualification
* Prior experience with Tier 1 contractors or large multi-disciplinary sites is preferred
* An excellent understanding of Health & Safety legislation
* Strong organizational, motivational, and communication skills
* Ideally possess trainer the trainer certification
Duties
As our EHS Lead, your duties will include:
* Overseeing risk assessment programs across sites
* Maintaining, reviewing, and updating site risk registers
* Establishing and reporting on key safety indicators
* Conducting presentations and training on health & safety topics and accident prevention
* Implementing comprehensive health & safety plans aligned with legal regulations and industry best practices
* Mentoring site teams to champion our proactive, safety-oriented culture
Estimated Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum
