Supervisor - Client Onboarding KYC Team
Outline of position
The primary responsibilities of this position are:
1. The CDD Onboarding Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating the collation and review of KYC documentation for all new clients across multiple functions/units (Fund Administration; Loan, Middle Office; Depositary & Custody) as well as to coordinate the periodic KYC review process on existing clients in line with Apex Group AML/CTF policies.
2. Key tasks will include coordination of client adoptions, internal system set ups, management of CDD team and project planning.
3. The CDD Onboarding Supervisor will participate in local new business meetings and provide summary updates to senior management and client services teams on new and ongoing projects.
4. The CDD Onboarding Supervisor will work with the Onboarding and Compliance teams to develop best practices and operating models for integration to enhance the client onboarding experience.
5. The CDD Onboarding Supervisor will be expected to work in tandem with Spartan Office so that Target Operating Model is utilized and efficiencies are gained in both new and ongoing projects.
6. Assistance with ad hoc projects as required.
Required Skills
1. The ideal candidate must have an excellent knowledge of the funds industry and having experience working on different fund structures, domiciles (e.g. Ireland, Cayman, Luxembourg) and regulatory requirements is a distinct advantage.
2. Experience/knowledge of Fund Administration, Custody/Depository and AIFM/ManCo services is an advantage.
3. You should have strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. The candidate must be able to work on their own initiative.
4. Strong project and interpersonal skills. This is a client facing role and will also involve local and Spartan offices.
We are looking for a Supervisor to work within our Client Onboarding function based in Dublin, Ireland. This is a tremendous opportunity for someone with an excellent knowledge of the funds industry looking to develop their skills further. The position will involve a high level of interaction with all functional areas within the Group including Onboarding, Service Delivery teams as well as local Senior Management.
Performance
The successful candidate will be expected to work on his/her own initiative to successfully onboard new fund launches and conversions and ensure a positive onboarding experience for clients. Documentary and other standards should be used wherever practical to ensure consistency and efficiency.
