We are now recruiting for Grade III Clerical Officers for our client in the education sector, based in Laois / Offaly. These are full-time positions for an initial 3 - 12 month contract, location dependent:
THE ROLE:
* Provide clerical support to the existing team
* Data entry, administration, answering the phone, filing, typing reports/letters
* Assisting with post
* Setting up meetings (in-person or online via MS Teams), scheduling, sending invites & agendas, confirming delegates, taking minutes where required, issuing minutes
* Processing of invoices / inputting invoices into the system
* Dealing with members of the public and staff (directing their query to the relevant person/department, assisting them in finding correct information on the website/ giving them prospectuses etc.)
* Uploading manual files to sharedrive/cloud
* Assisting the centre manager with the smooth running of the front desk
REQUIREMENTS:
* Previous clerical/administration/receptionist experience is required
* Must have excellent IT skills
* Must have excellent data processing and attention to detail skills
* Must have planning, organizing, and diary management skills
* Capable of working in a team and on own initiative
* Working knowledge of GDPR and understanding of general data protection guidelines
* Full driver's license advantageous
Working week: Monday-Friday
Hours of work: 9am-5pm / 8.30am-4.30pm (centre dependent)
Hours per week: 35
Rate of pay: €15.27 per hour
