We excel in creating, launching, and scaling content-based marketing campaigns across leading third-party networks such as Meta, Google, X, TikTok, Taboola, Pinterest, Reddit, and many more.About this position: At GeistM, our content and creative team is seeking a Social Media Specialist to enhance our organic social efforts across our publisher brands, starting with Popdust as well as GeistM. This role will expand to include additional brands as our social media footprint grows. Ideal for a self-starter who is good at multitasking, has a pulse on what's trending, and has experience managing multiple brands, the position involves executing social media strategies that increase our online presence, engage our audiences, and drive more eyes to our sites.To be successful in this role, you should be a creative individual who has experience growing social followings (especially for publications) and has a passion for supporting writers and fellow creators.Responsibilities and Duties:Collaborate with the Manager of Brand & Content to create social media and engagement strategies that promote audience growthImplement social media strategies for Popdust and GeistM, as well as our other publisher brands.Collaborate closely with the Organic/Affiliate team to determine which articles to publish and repurpose.Package and translate our articles to feel native to the platforms on which they are published without sacrificing editorial voice and integrity.Help bring our publications to life on social platforms, building brand awareness and increasing reader loyaltyCreation and publishing of relevant, original, and high-quality content and copy.Utilize tools like Canva and CapCut to create engaging social content.Daily social monitoring and regular reporting of content performance and key learningsStay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applicationsStay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, focusing on Instagram, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, and any emerging social media platformsBuild and foster meaningful interactions with audiences on social platforms to enhance engagement and community building.
