This Senior National Account Manager role within L'Oréal's Dermatological Beauty Division presents a high-impact commercial opportunity for a seasoned professional with strong business acumen. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving retail sales and market share growth, managing P&L, and overseeing all aspects of the commercial strategy, including branding, point-of-sale, forecasting, budgeting, new product launches, and promotions, all while upholding the division's stringent medical and brand standards. This position demands a strong commercial leader adept at building and maintaining key relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including customers, retailers, and distributors. Good knowledge of the Irish pharmaceutical market and competitive landscape is preferred.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
1. Presell and Promotional Activity Management: Oversee and approve all presell and promotional activities nationwide. This includes forecasting sales volume, determining and projecting required point-of-sale (POS) materials, and evaluating the overall performance of these initiatives.
2. Sales Forecasting and Inventory Management: Develop accurate sales forecasts to ensure sufficient stock availability for promotional campaigns and regular sales. Collaborate with relevant teams to optimise inventory levels and minimize stockouts or overstock situations.
3. POS Material Management: Define, forecast, and secure necessary POS materials for all promotional activities. This includes determining quantities, types of materials, and distribution strategies.
4. Order Management and Processing: Oversee order tracking systems for our team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) to input their orders efficiently. Consolidate these orders and submit them to the customer supply chain team, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
5. Performance Evaluation and Analysis: Analyse the effectiveness of promotional activities and presell strategies. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to optimize future campaigns.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with various internal teams, including sales, marketing, supply chain, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of promotional activities and presell strategies.
7. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including BDMs, retailers, and distributors, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
8. Turnover & P&L: Develop, plan and ensure the execution of a business plan for your account(s), including turnover, market share, GBP, and trade marketing plan.
9. Knowledge and understanding of your account portfolio and competitive landscape.
10. Plan & execute key NPD launches on time ensuring our branding, POS and education is in line with our high medical and brand standards, with A* merchandising & healthy stock cover.
11. Direct reports: Management of one National Account Manager and one Commercial Intern, whilst working in close proximity to a small team of field-based Business Development Managers.

YOU HAVE
1. Business driven and Customer Centric mindset.
2. Comprehensive understanding of the Irish Pharmacy market – ideal but not required.
3. Knowledge of commercial strategy and experience working with National or Key Accounts.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills – ability to analyse data and experience of working of sell-out forecast accuracy, consistency and control.
5. Financial competencies & ROI driven: Customer P&L including discounts and investment management. Comfortable in working in excel and modelling scenarios.
6. Experience of building relationships across an organisation and strong stakeholder management.
7. Strong planning and organisation skills with an ability to appropriately re-prioritise and change as required to meet deadlines.
8. Strong communicator and comfortable building and adapting presentations to deliver compelling customer centric plans.
