Job Summary
This role is a key member of the Supply Chain (SC) team, responsible for ensuring cross-functional collaboration and execution of supply chain objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in SC planning processes, with significant experience in a fast-paced commercially focused manufacturing facility within the bio/pharmaceutical, Med Tech, or similar industry.
Responsibilities
1. Identify opportunities for system and process improvements within the Supply Chain function and obtain stakeholder agreement and support.
2. Lead and deliver Supply Chain process improvements working collaboratively cross-functionally and in conjunction with the site operational excellence team.
3. Responsible for closing out assigned supply chain projects effectively to ensure identification of delivered benefits and solution sustainability.
4. Act as Local Business Owner (LBO) for assigned supply chain systems, including SAP.
5. Support the development and implementation of supply chain metrics and performance dashboards aligning with global standards.
6. Actively pursue and deliver automated solutions to reduce manual supply chain activities and administration.
7. Responsible for reporting and presenting timely fashion on Supply Chain projects and changes.
8. Participate and support the development of the SC team to build a high-performance environment with a focus on collaboration, mutual support, and individual/team development.
9. Nurture the SC team culture and act as an ambassador positively representing the SC team on all forums.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in supply chain management preferred or a combination of relevant qualifications such as IPICS, IIPMM etc.
* Greater than 5 years of experience in a SCM role with a significant and recent focus on SC planning processes.
* Proven track record within a fast-paced commercially focused manufacturing facility within bio/pharmaceutical, Med Tech, or similar industry.
* Experience of working within a highly regulated multinational contract manufacturing environment advantageous.
* Experience in a multi-site, international environment with a strong focus on stakeholder management preferable.
* Excellent written and oral presentation skill, detail-oriented organizational skill, clear understanding of GMP requirements.
