Job Description
My client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Risk Analyst to join thier prestigious global aviation company, based in Shannon, Co. Clare. In this key role, you will be responsible for identifying, analysing, and mitigating risks across the organisation, helping to safeguard the business and ensure the ongoing success of operations.
The Senior Risk Analyst will collaborate across departments, contribute to strategic decision-making, and play a leading role in risk management efforts to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify, evaluate, and prioritise risks across the organisation, covering operational, financial, strategic, and regulatory aspects.
* Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for ongoing and new aviation projects, investments, and processes.
* Analyse emerging risk trends and threats, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership
* Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies that effectively minimise the company's exposure.
* Work collaboratively with various teams to ensure robust risk controls and preventive measures are in place.
* Continuously seek to improve systems and processes that enhance the organisation's risk management profile.
* Produce detailed risk reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
* Effectively communicate risk findings and recommendations to various levels of the organisation.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Aviation Management, or a related field.
* Exceptional analytical ability, with a proven track record in risk identification, assessment, and mitigation.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Strong problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities, with a meticulous attention to detail.
* Proficiency in a 2nd language Desirable
