Part Time Book-keeper with Social Media Engagement/Management
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a part-time book-keeper with social media engagement/management.

Our purpose is to provide consistent, high-quality advice, support, and information to every person with Down syndrome, ensuring they have a network to support them throughout their life journey.
About the Role
* Undertake bookkeeping duties, including purchase/sales invoice management
* Ensure all invoices are posted correctly to the XERO accounting system
* Process creditor payments and undertake credit control duties
* Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
* Assist with the month-end process
* Assist with statutory annual audit
* Provide support to the CFO and Branch Treasurer as required
* Liaise with Down Syndrome Ireland National Office regarding financial queries/requests
Additional Responsibilities:
* Social media posting
* Social media planning
* Promoting branch activities and events
* Effectively managing different channels and ensuring a consistent message across our platforms
* Emails, messaging, and scheduling (replying and engagement)
Experience Required:
* 3 years' experience in a similar book-keeping role is essential
* The ability to work to tight deadlines
* A focused approach to work with strong attention to detail
* To be organized and methodical
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
* Excellent numeracy skills
* Fluency in spoken and written English
* Excellent IT skills, including Excel, Outlook, and strong experience in XERO accounting software (essential)
* Strong social media skills and knowledge
Hours & Location:
This is a part-time role working 1 day per week (or 7.5 hours per week) based in our branch office, located in Letterkenny.
