A leading manufacturing company based in County Meath, is seeking an experienced Environmental Engineer to manage compliance, drive innovative environmental solutions, and build strong stakeholder relationships. Responsibilities Include:
* Compliance with the monitoring programme as described in the company’s Industrial Emissions licence.
* Completing submission for Planning applications, Licence review applications and other business critical applications to state agencies.
* Investigation, follow-up and reporting of environmental incidents to the Statutory Authorities.
* Timely reporting of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual data to the company and Statutory Authorities.
* Design and implementation of solution to improve environmental performance.
* Lead audits conducted by EPA, external 3rd Party and internally.
* Management of external stakeholders.
* Occasionally, there may be a requirement for this position to be available outside of normal working hours.
The successful candidate will:

Requirements:
* A minimum of 4 years experience with considerable exposure to the environmental function.
* Experience of working in a highly regulated / heavy manufacturing industry.
* Strong EPA & Licensing knowledge
* A Technical College or University Degree in a Science, Environmental, Engineering or related discipline is desirable.
