Role and responsibilities
* Complete ownership of the month end reporting process on time including budget to actual analysis
* Preparation of consolidated reports for monthly management accounts and statutory purposes
* Ensure the integrity of financial reporting information issued to the Board prior to monthly Board meetings
* Manage the audit process and provide all relevant information to auditors as requested
* Ensure monthly balance sheet reconciliations are prepared for each material balance in the portfolio
* Manage a team of one which includes Accounts Assistant
* Liaise on the diligence of any potential acquisitions
* Manage the deferred and accrued revenue reconciliations including reporting of variances
* Prepare all relevant tax filings in conjunction with the tax agents including but not limited to VAT, RCT, VIES and corporation tax
* Prepare the accounting journals surrounding acquisitions and principal/interest repayments of senior debt
* Preparation of annual returns and relevant company secretarial filings
* Assisting with additional analysis, reports and requests as required by the Head of Finance or CFO
Qualifications
* Big 4 qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
* Excellent understanding, and experience in interpretation of IFRS (Including FRS 101 / 102).
* Planning and organisation skills to enable deliverables of tight deadlines
* Ability to prioritise and execute throughout to completion
* Work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
* Proficient in MS-Office skills (Excel and PowerPoint essential)
* Good communication and writing skills (especially in a multicultural environment)
* Self-motivated and driven
* Experience in ROI tax (including VAT, RCT and income tax)
* Experience within IT/Telecomms industry
* Experience in company secretarial filings
